Requirements

Requirements

• Highly skilled conceptual ideation, rendering, and graphic presentation abilities
• Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant design experience
• Ability to solve complex technical and design issues
• Proficient in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
• Knowledge of the IBC, ADA, and life safety issues
• Collaboration, organizational, and time management abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Licensure track is preferred but not a requirement; licensure is a plus

Requirements

• B.S. in civil engineering w/structural emphasis, or M.S. in structural engineering
• Experience in the field of structural engineering-related drafting is preferred.
• Familiarity with reviewing and/or preparing construction documents is preferred.
• Basic knowledge/experience level of understanding of how structures are built. That knowledge must include all construction types, structural materials, and fasteners.
• Ability to perform basic drafting and modeling tasks to create construction documents.
• Entry-level communication skills with engineers, internal team, and clients.
• Organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects of various sizes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate in a team environment
• A proactive approach to timely problem solving
• Experience using Autocad and Revit
• A minimum of 0-3 yrs experience
