Tectonics Design Group’s architects and structural engineers designed an eco-friendly, hot-dip galvanizing plant in Reno for AZZ. Tectonics Design Group was selected to design an eco-friendly, hot-dip galvanizing plant for AZZ. Their 41,000 sf Northern Nevada facility features a sequence of bridge cranes and monorails in a 50-ft tall manufacturing bay. The hazards associated with acid tanks, furnaces, and molten zinc were accommodated with a complex foundation system, close coordination of equipment, and a fiberglass building skin.
