Tectonics Design Group Helps Expand Access to Care in Reno

We’re proud to share that Community Health Alliance (CHA) has opened its newly expanded Neil Road Health Center in Reno — a project Tectonics Design Group was honored to support with architecture, structural, and civil engineering design.

The $8.6 million expansion adds a 4,000-square-foot addition and a full remodel of the existing facility at 3915 Neil Road.  The upgraded center features new medical exam rooms, an on-site pharmacy, dedicated behavioral health spaces, and a food pantry, so patients can access primary care and wraparound support all in one place.

The project was funded in large part by a $5 million contribution from the City of Reno through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, and was celebrated with a community ribbon-cutting on May 13, 2026.

Founded in 2012, CHA is a nonprofit, federally qualified health center serving thousands of patients annually across Reno and Sparks. We’re grateful to have played a part in advancing its mission of accessible, high-quality care for our community.
